  • The inhabitants of the small town Taos in New Mexico have been mysteriously sounding for several decades. It's about continuous low-frequency noise ....
which some compare with the distant sound of the diesel engine.
The constant exposure of this sound to residents of Taos town causes headaches, insomnia, discomfort and even breathing problems.
Although it can be heard with a bare ear, different audio detection devices have failed to register it!
Moreover, many research teams came to Taos to discover the causes of this unusual phenomenon, but no one has succeeded in doing so.
The mysterious noise was first reported in the early nineties, and Professor Joe Mulins of the University of New Mexico discovered that it is being heard by two percent of approximately 5,500 Taos residents. The sound appears suddenly, it's very quiet, and people hear it at least once a week !?
Witnesses say that sound is heard in small and closed spaces, such as a car or a house, which additionally contributes to the bizarreness of the whole situation
    Theories of conspiracy
The lack of a professional explanation for this phenomenon has led to many conspiracy theories.
Some claim that sound is a product of extraterrestrial activity, which additionally justifies the fact that Taos is only 500 kilometers from Roswell, in which a unidentified flying object was reported in 1947.
Others believe that the noise has to do with a secret US Army project that has already conducted low-frequency sound tests in the past, while the third assumes that it is a natural phenomenon, or a hearing problem in the people who hear it.
Recent research suggests that Taos's mysterious sound may be due to two deep-wave waves of the same frequency traveling in different directions
Inexplicable sounds are not reserved for this American city - moreover, they are heard all over the world.
