  • Passengers waiting to board a plane to leave Dubai instead of waiting in long lines will pass through a virtual tunnel that will scan their face! ...
Travelers who leave the United Arab Emirates that is, Dubai will no longer have to undergo long-term security checks, but this "problem" will be resolved by a light walk through the tunnel virtual aquarium.
The secret is in hidden cameras arranged along the tunnel, which will enable seamless scanning of the face or retina of the passengers.
The tunnel itself will be covered with high-resolution photos, thanks to which those who pass will have an impression of looking into the aquarium.

This move by the emirate is just one of the measures introduced at the airport and airplanes due to a higher level of security.
"Fish will be some sort of fun and something completely new for travelers, but after all, they will attract people's attention to different parts of the tunnel," explained Obaid al Hameeri, Deputy Director General of Residential and Foreign Affairs of Dubai.
Screens on the tunnel will also be able to display other scenes, such as desert landscapes, and even commercials.
At the end of the passage, the passenger whose registration was passed without problems will see a message in green letters: "Happy trip", otherwise red messages will be directed by those who for any reason should report to a particular airport service.
"Passing through the tunnel, travelers will not feel anything unusual, they will pass as usual as in other parts of the airport," said Al Hameeri.
The first "virtual border" will be set up in the summer of 2018 at the Terminal 3 of the International Airport in Dubai.
Other tunnels will be set up in stages so that all terminals are covered by 2020.
